Jamie, thank you for your questions

A1: Early Bird Discounts are good until 30 days before a class start date. In this instance, you're good until August 9 (for the September 10th start date) to get $300 off.

A2: YES, it is appropriate. To sit for the exam, PMI will ask you to provide proof of being a team member. As for the content of the class, I go from 100,000 foot view of Agile, down to 50,000 foot view, down to getting into the weeds. Day one is basically an Introduction to Agile.

A3: NO, there is no pre-work for the class, with the exception of an ACP practice test. It's important to just take the test and not go searching for answers. The answers will present themselves over the course of the three days. You'll then be tested at the end of the class, to measure your personal improvement.

Let me know if you have other questions!

Until what date is the Early Bird discount valid for the September 10 – 12, 2012 Reston, VA class? I’m looking to get my employer to sponsor my attendance and that information would be helpful to get them to have.

Also, is this class appropriate for someone who has minimal exposure to Agile? If there is recommended pre-work or pre-reading or pre-work for someone in that situation that would be great to learn about.

Thanks.
