Monthly Agile Meetups

PMI Washington DC Agile Meetup will have its first event on October 24th at 12pm at the Betchel Conference Center in Reston, Virginia.  Following meetups may be closer to the District.

Agile Atlanta User Group meets to have some fun while sharing agile (and some no-so-agile) experiences, to network, and help others with issues related to Agile software development methods.  Go to the Agile Atlanta website for more information on the organization, location, and to subscribe to their Yahoo! Group mailing list.  Food provided by their wonderful sponsor, VersionOne.

PMI Atlanta Agile Interest Group focuses on the impact of Agile on the Project Management community.  They share practical agile project management knowledge, experience and tools-techniques used by agile practitioners and thought leaders.  Topics are broad based in terms of methodology, but should always relate to Project Management.  They meet on the third Tuesday of every month.  Go to the PMI Atlanta website for more information.

Atlanta Scrum Meetup was created to focus on Scrum, but as the group has matured and evolved, we tackle diverse issues around agile adoption. We bring in speakers and facilitators with a wide variety of backgrounds and interests in a diverse set of Agile practices… technical, management, and leadership.   The Scrum Meetup gets together on the fourth Wednesday of every month.  We gather in the lobby of the IGH building on 3 Ravinia Drive near Perimeter Mall.  Registration is strongly recommended for this group, but it’s not required.
