Workshop Series: Where I come from we called it science!
This is the first of our Workshop Series. The workshop series is onsite only and seeks to bring in expert speakers into an interactive environment to share their experiences in order to provoke new ideas and challenge existing paradigms within the agile space.
How do you know you are building the right thing? How do you know you can build it? Technology is a never ending cycle of questions, decisions and guesses. The amazing thing is how well a team working to “learn fast and experiment frequently” [Modern Agile] can navigate the options and continue to deliver value. With a hands on exercise in learning, we’ll explore how reframing stories as experiments can help teams to leverage conflict effectively and embrace the failure as opportunity.
About the speaker:
Laura Moore is a designer, Coder, Tester, Maintainer and Troubleshooter for the modern, integrated enterprise application ecosystem since 2000. Laura loves nothing more than exploring ideas great and small, whether that’s a new product feature, the latest trending topic on the blog-o-sphere, or the implications of a technology choice in her current application or society at large. She currently works for UTC-CCS in what she likes to call “big-iron” IoT; delivering integrated smart building systems using a mix of technology old and new.
