James Mercedes is a Managing Consultant with a proven track record of leading successful enterprise transformations. He supports the organizational transformation vision and goals by partnering with executives and guiding them through the process of transforming their structure, culture, and the practices necessary to achieve success. He richly blends lean-agile principles, frameworks, organizational change strategy, and lean portfolio management to produce predictable outcomes and value more efficiently while both emphasizing high-quality standards and relentlessly pursuing continuous improvement.
Prior to his current role, James most recently served as a Principal Consultant contracted with Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd. where he was responsible for the Employee Digital Portfolio which focused on enhancing (transforming) the employee experience and service capabilities companywide through technology. Previous to that he served as a Principle Delivery Consultant at IBM and in senior leadership roles for several ERP/CRM software and consulting firms.
James earned his Executive MBA from the University of Georgia and B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Miami. He is a Certified Salesforce Administrator & Consultant, Certified SAFe 5 ScrumMaster (SSM), and Certified SAFe 5 Program Consultant (SPC).
