WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS COURSE

This course covers all the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner Leaning Objectives set by the Scrum Alliance as well as a wide range of additional skills and tools that have been added to help you level up in your role as a Product Owner. The course is designed to be a highly collaborative learning experience. You will work with a team throughout the course as you review case studies, explore critical topics, discuss ways to address the complexities of the role and get practical experience using a variety of tools that will help you and your organization raise your game when it comes to delighting the customer with products that are truly fit for purpose.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To obtain the certification, you must:

• Successfully complete an A-CSPO course. (This training class meets this requirement.)

• Hold an active Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) certification with the Scrum Alliance

• Be able to demonstrate that you have at least 12 months of work experience specific to the role of Product Owner (within the past five years).


CLASS REQUIREMENTS

To successfully complete this class you must:

• Complete all assigned prework by 8 PM Eastern time the evening before the class is scheduled to begin.

• Be present and actively engaged for the duration of the course with your camera and mic on.



COURSE DETAILS

• The course will run for two consecutive days from 9 AM until 5 PM Eastern

• Expect approximately 2 hours of pre-work that must be completed by 8 PM Eastern the evening before the class begins

• There will be approximately 1 hour of homework to be completed at the end of Day 1

• Live online classes are led using Zoom and Miro. All participants are required to be present with a camera and microphone on for the entire class. If you miss more than 1 hour of class time, you will not be eligible for the certification.

• Break Schedule: We will take a 1-hour break for lunch from 12:30 PM Eastern until 1:30 PM Eastern. We will also take two 10-minute breaks during the morning session and two 10-minute breaks during the afternoon session.

What’s the refund policy?

If you are not able to attend the class you have registered for please send an email to training@leadingagile.com. If you send in your notification at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the class you are eligible for a full refund or you may reschedule for a future class. Cancellations made 14 calendar days to 5 calendar days prior to the start of the class are eligible to reschedule for a future class or for a 70% refund. If you cancel within five calendar days from the start of a class, or if you do not attend the class, you will not be eligible for a refund or credit. Cancellation requests should be sent via email to training@leadingagile.com.


Can I receive PMI Professional Development Units (PDUs) for this course?

Yes, attendees who successfully complete this class are eligible to self-report 16 PDUs upon successful completion of this program.


Does this course also provide the basic CSPO Certification?

No, you must hold a current CSPO certification to qualify for an A-CSPO


Can I take this course if I do not hold a CSPO?

Yes! However, you would not be eligible to receive the A-CSPO Certification until you had also received your CSPO certification.
